Good to be back!

Hey everybody!

It was very good to be back in class with you last night. I feel like I am finally at home again!

Since I'm back, we are going to really kick Wednesday Nights up a notch. So, INVITE YOUR FRIENDS and we will have some very fun and crazy and cool and biblical conversations. I want to really have fun but challenge you all on Wednesday nights!

You are the bestest most awesome Youth Group in the whole city and maybe even the whole country (and maybe ever the whole world), and you should be super proud of yourselves!

This Sunday night - Pauline Pratt's 100th Birthday
We are putting together some entertainment - get with me about that! Sept. 24th - Church Picnic - FREE FOOD!! Sept. 24 - 1:00 p.m. during picnic Lompoc CoC vs. Foster Road in a baseball game.
We crushed them last year... let's make it a tradition!
Oct. 7-9th - Ventura Youth Forum - ONLY $15
Nov. 25-27 - YouthFest @ Pepperdine - $50

MISSIONS TRIP

We are on a Mission!

For those of you who missed our Wednesday night class last night we decided to plan a Mission Trip to the south to help rebuild what Hurricane Katrina distroyed.
We decided summer would be the best considering school, funding and coordination. We are looking to hook up with other Youth Groups in the area and from other churches to go with us. I'll keep you all posted on the plans, but for now you can check out http://www.hilltoprescue.org or http://www.disasterreliefeffort.org to see what you can do for now.
If you know of any Youth Groups or churches that would like to join us, call me!
Pray for a quick recovery and that God leads us to those who need our help.

Need Prayers

Hey guys!
I need some prayers for my family. My grandfather (mom's dad), Ron Sanders, had a heart attack yesterday. They ran some tests and found that he has a lot of blockage. They are transporting him to Oklahoma City for surgery which he'll most likely have tomorrow.
My mom and Uncle Davin decided to drive out to be with him and the family. My grandma, Caroline, needs a lot of prayers too. They live in Ponca, Oklahoma.
My grandparents are very devoted Christians and I know that what ever happens is God's plan. Please pray for my mom and Uncle to get there and back safely as well as my grandfather's surgery.
